DURA FLEX
MULTIPLY TEXTILE CONVEYOR BELTS
Conveyor Belts are one of the most commonly used medium in the field of bulk material handling to convey a variety of materials such as coal, cement, ores, grains, throughout the processing industries worldwide.
At Dura Conveyor Belting, we manufacture world class high performance Textile Reinforced Rubber Conveyor Belts which are primarily tailor-made products. Various technical parameters are taken into consideration while designing a conveyor belt.

CARCASS

COVERS
- DURA Covers are engineered rubber layers applied on top & bottom of the carcass.
- We pay great attention to decide the Cover grade, quality and thickness as these factors are directly attributable to the longevity of the belt's service life.
- A specific cover formulation used in an individual belt construction is determined by the material to be carried and the environment in which the belt will operate.
- The Covers can be manufactured with texture or profiles to prevent roll back of material in case of higher inclination.
Top Rubber Cover
- Top Rubber Cover's main function is to protect the carcass and help extend its service life.
- At DURA Belts, our rubber technologists have developed a variety of cover grades which have properties such as Resistance to Wearing, Tearing, Cutting, Gouging, Impact, Heat & Cold, Fire, Oil & Chemical.
Bottom Rubber Cover
- DURA Bottom Rubber Cover has good abrasion resistance as it is this part of the belt which is in constant contact with the drive pulley to transmit the power to the belt.
- DURA Bottom Rubber Cover also comes in specially formulated Low Rolling Resistant property which helps in lower consumption of power/energy required to run a belt on a system.

CARCASS
- The carcass is the core of a conveyor belt and is the main load bearing component. The combined fabric reinforcement usually found inside of a conveyor belt is normally referred to as the "Carcass".
- At DURA Belts, we produce the carcass in our state of the art calendaring and building facilities ensuring the carcass to perform the below listed critical functions of a running conveyor belt:

SKIM RUBBER LAYER
- Skim Rubber is a thin layer made with specially engineered polymer grades & chemicals with high adhesion properties to provide excellent bonding strength between skim & fabric plies & between skim inter layers along the length & across the width of the belt.
- For specific applications, we have formulated special skim compounds to offer application specific properties like resistance to heat, fire, oil & chemical while maintaining the excellent bonding properties which are utmost important for a carcass to perform its function.
FABRIC INSERTIONS / PLIES
- Fabric is one of the most critical component used in the manufacturing of a textile conveyor belt.
- We procure high quality textile fabric from only reputed fabric manufacturers, who have a proven track record to deliver high performance high quality conveyor belt textile fabrics.
- Our Quality checks ensures that the sourced fabric has important properties such as Strength, Elongation, Load Bearing Capacity, Flexibility, Troughability, Impact Resistance, Dimensional Stability and Transverse Stiffness depending upon the quality and construction of the fabric being used in the manufacturing of a conveyor belt.

In Plain Weave construction, each thread, both warp and weft, passes alternately above and below the threads in the other direction and out of phase with the adjacent yarns on either side, running in the same direction.
DURA FLEX - FABRIC STYLES
NN
(Warp-Nylon 6 / Weft-Nylon 6)
EP
(Warp-Polyester / Weft-Nylon6,6)
SALIENT FEATURES OF NN (NYLON NYLON CARCASS)
- Have Nylon 6 in warp and Nylon 6 in weft.
- High Strength and Good resistance to abrasion, fatigue and impact.
- Less moisture absorption as compared to cotton.
- High Elongation as compared to EP carcass.
SALIENT FEATURES OF EP (POLYESTER NYLON OR POLYESTER POLYAMIDE CARCASS)
- Have Polyester in warp and Nylon 66 in weft.
- Low Elongation as compared to NN & Cotton Fabric.
- Exceptionally good abrasion and fatigue resistance.
- Extremely low moisture absorption – consequently good dimensional stability.
- High strength.
- Unaffected by mildew.
